Rundle Place was built only 7 years ago (2013) to the highest retail specifications. The property is remarkably similar in many respects, to the very successful Fortius developed and managed MidCity Centre on Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall.
The property is currently 77% occupied and generating a net return of 5.2% on the current passing income. That income is secured from prominent tenants including South Australia’s only Apple Store, a strongly trading full-line Coles supermarket, a highly successful food court and the Adelaide City Library, together with 60 specialty tenants primarily food, services and fashion. Following a successful leasing campaign of the currently vacant space and re-mixing of existing tenancies, the annual net income is projected to increase on a fully leased basis to 8%+.
